Job Description:

    The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Manage and supervise daily operation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, business cash receipts, general ledger, Expense Accounting.
  • Manage vendor payments, employee payments and book keeping and perform overall controllership role. Correct vouching and verification of every voucher submitted with high level of accuracy. Ensuring appropriateness of Supporting Documents. Recording of transactions in NAV ERP software.
  • Manage staff daily workload, coordinate and review staff work. Prioritize and coordinate staff projects and workload.
  • Monitor the preparation and filing of all statutory returns – TDS/ VAT/ E. Duty/ Service Tax/ PF/ ESI etc. Ensure compliance to all Statutory Regulations.
  • Troubleshoot software problems/issues related to Accounts Function, and coordinate resolution with the software implementation partner.
  • Prepare / Oversee bank reconciliation, Inter Company Reconciliation, Customer & Vendor Account reconciliation, capital assets accounting, month-end/ year end closing entries .
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, MIS reports and analyses timely.
  • Oversee internal control functions.
  • Coordinate with all Functional teams to get financial information.
  • Communicate effectively with Banks/ Customers/ Vendors/Auditors.
